Chief Ibikunle Alfred Omolade's Biography

Chief Alfred Omolade fondly called 'Oluomo' was born some 52 years ago to the famous family of High chief T.A Obarishe Ibikunle of Ilupa quaters in Iyara,Ijumu Local Government Area.he started his primary school education at St. Pauls primary school in Iyara-Ijumu, and later completed it at St. Pauls primary school Olle-Bunu where his loving mother,Madam Racheal Kajotoni Tinuola Ibikunle hails from. He proceeded to the Premier St Barnabas secondary school,Kabba where he wrote and passed out in flying colors in school certificate examination in 1975. He holds a Bachelors degree in Education Management/Economics in 1985,and a Masters degree in Business Administration(MBA Finance) in 1995 both for the "standard" university,the university of Ilorin.
Chief Ibikunle Alfred Omolade has his professional accounting course between 2003 to 2005 at the college of accountancy,University of Jos to become chattered. He began his civil service career in ministry of education and later transferred his service to the unified service of Kogi state Local Government Service Commission at chief Accountant through inter-service transfer in 2001. Now a director of finance and presently serving as Local Government Treasurer(LGT) in Okehi Local Government Area. Kogi state after serving in Ijumu ,Yagba west and Igalamela/Odolu LGA in same the same capacity. His gentle but cheerful and highly accommodating disposition,outstanding humane qualities that strongly endear him to people explain the several Leadership and responsibility post's he held during his school days.he is currently the president of Ijumu progressive organization,Yagba west Local government area chapter-a socio-cultural association that brings together Ijumu sons and daughters that sojourn in the geographical area(Yagba west). Chief Ibikunle Alfred Omolade, a certified and prolific philanthropist is a recipient of the following leadership and merit awards of excellence.

  • Maiyegun of Iyara land
  • Olumoye of Iyara land
  • Tadese of Ogidi land
He is happily married to Princess chief (Mrs) Ibikunle A. Abiola, A succesful buisness tycoon, one of the great daugters of HRH Oba olorunmaiye Olajubu, the late Elekula of Ekirin adde, a renowned and succesful transporter of his time.
